Healthy cupcakes?

Love, love cupcakes but want something that has some nutrition to it. No strawberries or chocolate.

Any recipes?

I used to have a decent pumpkin/flax recipe. I gave it up because it was more complicated than it needed to be - started with a muffin base that involved 18 cups of flour, then you'd branch off with smaller recipes.

If anyone has a more basic version of that, I'd like to make those again.

I use a muffin recipe too and call them cupcakes. Frosting makes it all good.

To my basic muffin recipe I add 1/2 c. of something good...mashed banana or other fruit, pumpkin, etc. Or you can make zucchini or banana bread into muffins and cook for about 20 min.

One of my favorite recipes is Gluten Free Mommy's Carrot Cake recipe

I throw in extras every time. I add about a tsp of hemp flour and sometimes toss in flax as well. (sorry, I don't use measurements on that) as well as tossing in some psyllium to give it a better rise.

Depending on whether I have a severe sugar craving or not, depends on whether or not I make that specific icing or a different less sugary one for it.
