Help with a corner cabinet
Our new apartment has a turning corner cabinet.
I don't know what to put on it. my first thought was dishes so the girls can put them away. But once I put them there it was clearly too much weight for it. So what can I put there?

Re: Help with a corner cabinet
Mine has pot lids, large tupperwares, ice cube trays, and anything else that doesn't have a spot elsewhere.

Mine has onions, potatoes, open pasta, spare condiments oil groats, aminos acv & fish sauce, and if I have any cans of soup or beans that goes there too. (Don't normally have tinned soup/beans.)

Re: Help with a corner cabinet
I was wondering if my flours and/or oil would weigh less than the dishes.

Re: Help with a corner cabinet
Ok so I put the flour on it and it is creaking the same as with the dishes.
Should it still spin smoothly? Is it OK that it creaks and grones?

Re: Help with a corner cabinet
Hmm. Maybe it is not a sturdy cabinet. Mine is from 198something and does fine with heavy stuff. Something messed up with it once, but my husband fixed a part or something...
I guess if it can't handle heavy stuff you're left with, what, plastics and bulk herbs? :-( ---------- Post added at 04:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:23 PM ---------- The centre-piece of mine, where it goes through the hole, does look more substantial than yours.

Re: Help with a corner cabinet
My in-laws have one that is cereal, tea and cracker central. If I had one, I'd use it for "help yourself to snacks" foods for DD. She loves the spinny fun.
