HuggaBuggaMommy Administrator Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 12,271	Dd and bottoming out blood sugar Dd has really awful boughts of low blood sugar. If we forget to get food into her every couple of hours, she can quickly spiral into a raging, screaming mess. If this happens, as soon as we get some sugar into her, she stabilizes and is perfectly normal and rational. But of course the ups and downs are not good for her. She is a very picky eater, and very carb dependent. I try to get protein and good fats into her at every meal and snack, which helps obviously, but she doesn't always cooperate. We eat low sugar in general. She is quite small and thin for her age, 7.5 and 40 pounds. Suggestions? __________________ Christa Oldest, 22 Middlest, 13 Youngest, 10
