What's for Dinner? Wintry December Edition
Come and share your menu plans! Get fantastic ideas from your fellows moms!
Recipes are greatly appreciated! Pictures are loved! ---------- Post added at 10:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:34 PM ---------- Our dinner tonight was black bean chili for the kids: And stuffed spaghetti squash for dh and I. I used up the remaining thanksgiving turkey leftovers, added onion, garlic, red pepper, mushrooms, kale and topped with feta. So amazingly delicious. Dh also smothered his in mozzarella cheese, but he loves smothering all his meals in cheese.

Leftover brisket with onions, carrots and balsamic vinegar. With leftover mashed potatoes and (non-leftover ) collard greens. G ate and mostly enjoyed the collards for the first time! Tomorrow it's more Tday turkey in the form of tacos

Re: What's for Dinner? Wintry December Edition
We didn't have anything interesting tonight - grilled cheeseburgers and tater tots - but I'm looking forward to ideas to get me out of my current cooking rut!

Re: What's for Dinner? Wintry December Edition
Well it's summer here in Australia so we are just getting into the salads and BBQ's.
I am hoping to introduce some more vegetarian meals, but it will depend on how the 3 meat-eaters cope as to how far we get

Re: What's for Dinner? Wintry December Edition
I put beef strew in the crock pot at home and ham soup in the crock pot at my parents so I'm having something from a crock pot tonight depending on where I happen to be come dinner time.
