Default Best baking sheets?

I don't know if I should post this here or in cooking. . Making my christmas list and I want to replace our awful peeling non-stick baking sheets. I use stainless steel and iron pans on the stove top. What recommendations do you have for baking sheets health-wise? I was wondering about ceramic coated or stoneware?

I personally am NOT a fan of baking stones. I do like my Pampered Chef metal (stainless steel, I think) baking sheet. If you do want to get a stone, I recommend getting one that has a lifetime warranty. Bed Bath and Beyond carries some Oneida baking stones which have a lifetime warranty; I cracked 2 stones in short order and they gave me NO hassle about getting a replacement. Didn't even need a receipt. (I was making pita bread on the stones in a 550 degree F oven, according to the instructions. The cold dough kept cracking the stone. I experimented with a 500 degree oven and never cracked it again and my pita bread still came out puffy and terrific. Now, though, I just use my PC metal sheet to make pita bread).

I'm interested in reading the responses too. I use cast iron exclusively on the stove, and needed a new baking sheet. I ended up with an inexpensive stainless steel one and it works fine. I don't do much baking on it -- it's more for roasting vegetables, and it has worked really well for that. I also sometimes use glass for that purpose...

But if I find the "right" thing I'd be willing to invest more $ in to something.

I just have stainless steel jellyroll pan. The key is using parchment paper whenever you cook anything. I use it to bake cookies, roast vegetables, everything!

I need to find some too! We have 1 sheet that we got years ago and it's stainless. I've been looking online and the stainless ones say they're nonstick, does that mean there's a coating on them?

I just bought 2 of the pampered chef baking sheets. They are aluminum, which is not my favorite, but it's one of the few things I cook with that's not stainless or cast iron or glass and I don't use them all that much. I also use my silpats on them most of the time.

I do also have a couple stainless steel jelly roll pans, but I don't like them for cookies as much.

I have a stainless griddle that I use and I also use my stainless roasting pan. I don't bake much though. You could also use parchment paper on the pans you have while you are waiting for replacement.

I totally agree! Parchment paper is awesome, nothing sticks to it, it doesn't leech aluminum or whatever and you don't even have to grease it. Clean up is so easy. I am in love with parchment paper lol!

I love my Pampered Chef stoneware jelly roll pans. Like, really love them. I use them for everything from cookies to roasted potatoes to bacon, to everything.
