Bee stings?

Ds1(6) got stung by one of our honeybees yesterday and his finger swelled pretty good but then seemed to go down. Today his hand is at least twice it's normal size and is red and itchy. We've had ice on it and it seems to be swelling even more and his wrist is a bit swollen now too. Any ideas what to do? I feel bad for him. He got stung a few months ago in the neck by 2 bees,but he didn't swell like this(unless it was inside)

bentoinite clay paste applied now and in future right away can really help with reacrions

With a reaction like that, I would consider a dose of benedryl. I would also be very cautious about future stings. The reactions tend to get progressively worse.

We had several stings a few years ago. (My kids like to pet bees.) We tried bentonite clay paste and baking soda paste. The baking soda hurt more but worked better for my kids.

I was going to post a pic,but I don't know how. I don't have clay..considering getting Benadryl.

I get terrible swelling from stings. Surprisingly though my last sting was not so bad. Benadryl and ice help the most but it's usually a good few weeks.

clay works really well used right away. Homeopathic apis mellifica is for bee stings and works very well. I would do benadryl every 6 hours until swelling subsides at this point.

I got some Benadryl and gave him some..mostly for the discomfort and to help him sleep. He didn't sleep well last night because of the itching! I'll keep the others in mind for the future.

I second the use of the homeopathic apis, and you can even still use it now since he is still reacting to the bee sting.
