Musical beds. What to do...
Both sunshine and cuppycake sleep with us. We are happy with this arrangement. We have a king sized bed. It is big enough.
We also have a toddler bed that gets used once a month ish. It is in our room. We have a very nice twin daybed in our spare room. We are taking that out to make room for lots of big motor activities. A second playroom. Here are our options: Get rid of toddler bed, side car twin to our bed (there's room) to make more space/transition possibility. Keep toddler bed and let it take up space bing mostly unused. Store twin bed somewhere (idk where) Keep toddler bed somewhere. Sidecar twin bed. Get rid of toddler bed and store twin bed (again idk where yet) What should we do? I think I'm leaning toward getting rid of toddler bed and sidecar-ing the twin.

Re: Musical beds. What to do...
based on my experience with all of the above I would go for #1 because a twin sized is so muh more versatile than a toddler bed

Re: Musical beds. What to do...
I would totally sidecar the twin bed, even if one of you ends up sleeping on it. It would just make more room for everybody. I don't know about the toddler bed. Sunshine will have outgrown it pretty soon, and that way if she wants her own bed or her own room, you could just separate the twin from the king.

Re: Musical beds. What to do...
We are going to do it tomorrow, provided no urgent things come up.

Sell the toddler and the twin bed. Get a queen bed and put it on the floor. Use for company or for sleeping with whichever child needs it or for girls to sleep together.

Re: Musical beds. What to do...
That'd be cool, but we only have space in our bedroom because of what we are doing with the playrooms. I don't think guests want to sleep with us lol. Neither kid is anywhere near ready to sleep out of our room. I am thinking they will probably move out together into the same bed or same room when cuppycake is older.
