Wednesday To-Do List/Five Minute Challenge

Today I am trying to get my home somewhat back in shape.

So far today I have:

Thrown the clothes I washed last night in the dryer
Put a new load in the washer
Worked on the kitchen for 45 minutes (no it is not done yet. )

To-do:

Kitchen:
Finish washing dishes
sweep floor in kitchen
wipe down kitchen counters
Put dishes away

Living room:
Clean off table
clean off couch
gather and throw away trash
put any dirty clothes in the hallway for washing

Laundry:
Wash/dry/fold a total of four loads.

Bathroom:
Clean toilet
** I also managed to throw out the bathroom trash and clean the mirror.

Food:
Make lunch at 12:30 (serve at 1)
Make dinner at 5:30 (serve at 6)

And finally if i feel motivated enough: Make bagels for tomorrow.

I also need to get in 1 solid hour of writing before 5pm (I got 17 minutes... it's something... /shrug)


Yes this is ambitious Some of these things are higher on my priority list then others. I want to knock as much of it out as possible.

I'll join. I just learned that my dh is planning a small birthday dinner for me tonight, so I should make the house presentable. He's taking care of the food.

To do:
-laundry (put away and tidy laundry room once the clothes are clean)
-dishes
-quick tidy of kitchen and living room
-not so quick tidy of dining room (the table is full of stuff that needs to find a home)
-spend time in the garden (veggie patch as well as main front entry). Gardening in my gift to myself.
-make sense of the mess I made in my bedroom when I was cleaning out my closet. It gets worse before it gets better.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
no school today and hubby on out of town business trip, so we have been swapping rooms...big boys going together and two early to bed together...
and it has been busy busy,
but in the next 5 minutes:
brown hamburger for dinner
put sheets on boys beds, they finish off and make with fresh clean sheets and blankets
run vacuum in boys room!

my 17 year old did the vacuuming!! woot

An hour until company arrives. I will set out dishes for dinner, and then start on the dining room clutter. Even if I don't finish, progress will be good.
