newer Corelle question

We need new dishes and I had planned on getting a set from Anchor Hocking,but they don't have any we like in stock. I'm looking at Corelle and am thinking of getting a plain white set(to avoid any possible lead issues). Does anyone have newer Corelle? How is it holding up? I know the old stuff used to be awesome!

We have had Corelle recently. I love how it is so sturdy and thin! The only thing I didn't like was that it got *really* hot in the microwave.

I like our Corelle. It does break when we drop it sometimes, but we have a tile floor. I had older stuff, too, and I think it's the same.

I love the plain white because I can just buy them singly at Walmart when some of them break or if I want more for some reason.

I don't have to worry about microwave since we don't have one,but have you put them in the oven?

I think I'm going to get some..made in USA and getting plain white,I don't have to worry about lead

and if they break,they seem pretty affordable...

I love corelle. I couldn't pick a pattern so I just buy them when I see them at the thrift store. There are a few different shapes though so I make sure they are all the same so they stack together nicely.
