Get rid of migraines using homemade and natural cosmetics

Hi folks It feels good to be part of this community.

Here is my problem:
I suffer from migraines all the time and have already tried lots of different thing. Till now, nothing really helped me

It basically stated that migraines could come from commercial beauty and skincare products and that you can get rid of migraines using homemade and natural cosmetics. Have you ever heard of that?? I thing I will test it during the next weeks. Has anybody else already tested this way before? Would love to hear your experiences.

Bath and body products can be part of migraine issues. I hope you find some relief with this effort. Unfortunately it took nithing short of a multi month elimination/detox plan to stop migraines for me. It was nit easy but so much easier than living with multiple migraines a week like i had been. Since detoxing and maintaining a different diet I have only had one migraine since October and the ones in October were injury related. Before my injury I was migraine free for almost 2 years after a decade of surviving with migraines.

I think cosmetics certainly can trigger migraines in some people.

I switched to natural cosmetics and body products in 2003 and my migraines worsened over the years. It's only been in the past year that I've figured out my migraines and headaches were caused by wheat and coffee. As long as I avoid those, I am headache & migraine free.

My dd's migraines turned out based in her thyroid and complicated by tmj, sinis infections and sleep issues (all connected to her thyroid!) she started slow - a few migraines a month for a few years and progressed to daily and then continual for months.

I may ask her if she's wearing make up these days though because she has a ton of triggers. The type of thyroid dis function she has caused her to trigger continually. And I can't remember what type of cosmetics she's using. I think mineral based??

I avoid anything with a "fragrance" listed on the box or bottle. I'm not sure it helps prevent sinus problems or migraines for me but I know synthetic smells make me feel much worse when I am already suffering. I'm ok with a little bit of essential oil and I do use those in my homemade deodorant and tallow balm. I haven't found a makeup I'm excited about yet but I keep looking.
