Favorite go to healing meal?
I had the flu last week and while I'm not actually sick anymore, I'm having a hard time healing up. Hardly anything sounds good :/ After days of eating junk and surviving on what I could scrounge up around the house, I need some really great healing foods
Ideas? Tia

Re: Favorite go to healing meal?
Our go to healing meal is homemade chicken broth made in to a cabbage vegetable soup with LOTS and LOTS of garlic and onion. Works every time.

Pretty much this. Except I like mine kind if soupy and add shredded chicken if I have it. I usually have bone broth in the freezer so it's a easy to make up some soup even if I feel half dead.

Homemade bone broth with onions, garlic, carrots and celery. Lemon and/or ginger tea with local honey. Hope you regain your strength soon.

Mine consists of brothy soups as well, either chicken noodle or rice with broth.

If you are not able to make bone broth, or just want something quick and easy, I really like Trader Joes Miso Ginger broth.
