dealing with disappointment/being a good sport

any good book recs? i know there is a title recommended called dealing with disappointment--but what author? there are a few choices on amazon!
i need to go thru theses issues with some of my kids

We are Catholic, so I am not sure if this will work for you, but often we read the lives of the saints and talk about how they handled disappointments both big and small by giving them to Jesus and allowing Him to use those experiences to make them holy.

I also find that it helps to acknowledge the child's feelings and not to sugar coat how bad they might be feeling, or make it seem like it doesn't matter (even if it really doesn't matter).

I dont know of any books but I think both acknowledging their disappointment and then mentioning a positive aspect about the game as a team or individually - you guys played hard! lets go get icecream!
