Does anyone use any of the Trilight Health asthma formulas? Or recommend something?
I need to find something. I don't know if my 2 year old actually has asthma or something else. He was hospitalized with pneumonia at 9 months old and has had asthma type symptoms ever since. The thing is asthma medicines do nothing for it. At this point it seems to happen about once a month, it seems to go along with getting a cold, even the most minor cold. He will wheeze and breathe really shallowly and cough until he throws up. It usually goes on for about 2 days. Albuteral doesn't do a thing. He's been on a steroid for a couple of months now too and that doesn't seem to have made any difference either. I'm thinking of trying one of these herbal supplements, or maybe 2, I just don't know what to get.
I was going to order an iron supplement from Trilight Health and now I'm looking at their asthma supplements too. There is ASMA which seems to be something they take during an asthma attack, there is Lungs Plus, there are immune system boosters, there is Lung Tonic. I don't know what to get. I'm thinking I'll try the ASMA, but is there also something to give on a daily basis to strengthen his lungs? And do they really help?

I don't know. I'm not sure what croup sounds like.

The cough has a barky sound to it and the child has difficulty getting enough air. Croup is usually worse at night, especially in the hours before dawn.
Homeopathic spongia toasta is usually extremely helpful for a croupy cough. For a general asthma symptoms, homeopathic aconitum napellum can be helpful. |

Maybe one of those Himalayan Salt Lamps would be helpful next to his bed. I was just reading about the H. Salt inhalers.

Does he get dairy? Dairy can do that.

It's not croupy.
And he loves dairy, but if he eats dairy products everyday I don't know why it would only cause problems once a month or so.

I had horrible issues growing up. I didn't figure out it was dairy till I was adult. I always suggest it.

We use Lungs Plus and have for 15 years. It got us through whooping cough when nothing else helped. It's good stuff.
Once a month could signal that it's actually a parasite problem, strangely. Have you treated him for pinworms, etc?
