Default Homeschooling ideas (during pandemic)

Am seeing both here and facebook the need for ideas to keep kids engaged in learning and thought I'd start a thread to gather ideas that maybe we can all come back to --- tours of museums, your favorite tips, best kahn academy courses, best creative time ideas, etc.

I started another thread about free resources, forgetting this one was here, so I've just merged the two threads, adding my post and heart of joy's to this thread. This week feels like months have passed! Sorry for the confusion, carry on!

Is it weird that seeing this post made me miss grading my students’ essays?

I don't know if others will find this too close to home, but we've been watching a lot of documentaries on pandemics, viruses, and YouTube videos from biologists. We also made models of several viruses using play doh and pipe cleaners. They're actually quite interesting, visually and functionally.
