Cavities
so I went to the dentist for the first time in awhile, and I have a lot of minor cavities. Honestly, I have only had one cavity in my mouth my entire life so it was depressing to hear. I have been pregnant or nursing for 7 years, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of it is from that. I am trying to find some natural ways to help my teeth. I will be filling the cavities over the next 6 months or so. It would be great if some went away, but my main goal is to strengthen my teeth so as not to add more cavities.
I have looked at dr. Ellie, and most of her plan seems doable and reasonible to me. I was wondering about the xytirol. Has anyone used it? Are there negative side effects to worry about? Honestly, I don't use any substitute sugars so it makes me nervous. Also, where do you get zellies? What foods have you incorporated in your diet? What multivitamin do you take? I am nursing if that makes a difference.

Re: Cavities
I always recommend getting a second opinion when you are told you need a lot of dental work. Unfortunately, there is a lot of dishonestly in the dental industry and unnecessary treatment being done. I hope this isn't what happened to you, but I've seen it happen so many times.

Re: Cavities
my dd was told that she had 9 cavities that needed attention. She hs been eating vegan so wasnt open to doing some of the things that will heal cavities and teeth. I have heard of people having very good results using this - http://www.greenpasture.org/public/P...CodLiverBlend/. pricey but far les so than dental work. my dd did start oil pulling with coconut oil and brushing with it each day and flossing.after doing that for some months she went back and was told she didnt need any fillings
