Struggling with PMS irritability
I've always been a bit more...um...vocal?...during my luteal phase than elsewhere in my cycle. I'm far more prone than normal in this time to straight talk and tell it like it is rather than beat around the bush (read: spare anyone's feelings). But lately it's gotten ridiculous; it's like anything can set me off, and I'm having a really hard time being the person I want to be.
For the past month and a half I've drastically limited my sugar intake and grain intake (almost no wheat at all and only a little rice and other grains), and cut my dairy consumption significantly as well. I've also been taking D.E. and, more recently (in the last couple weeks) a high-dose vitamin C, calcium, magnesium and potassium supplement. I've also gotten back into my exercise routine, though not as regularly as I'd like (between 2 and 3 times a week right now) because some days I'm just way too tired. I'm trying to get enough sleep, but it's tough as my little ones still wake me in the night most nights and I'm a single mum so it's all me. I'm probably anemic, but I don't know what a good iron supplement is to take (particularly one that doesn't cost the earth). And I'm worried that the D.E. will absorb the iron anyway - is this a legitimate concern? I've realised too that I've not been taking my vit B supplements - will adding these back in help me? We were battling pinworm here last full moon, so there's that issue too that may be exacerbating things, but I've been trying to keep on top of it with both conventional and natural methods (the D.E. obviously being one of them). I'm also wondering if my copper IUD would have something to do with it. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Re: Struggling with PMS irritability
That stinks. I guess it is good that you recognize it, but now what to do, right??
