Re: Prime Day 2018
My son has been wearing my Fitbit Charger 2 and it's dead now. I'll keep watching and see if I can afford a replacement or check out the Vitbit thing Lisa mentioned.

It only does time, steps, calories burned, stopwatch, distance, and sleep monitoring. It never needs to be charged and it water resistant, which I loved. I had mine for 2 1/2 years and was still on the same battery. It doesn't have GPS or monitor heart rate. GPS is what makes the distance tracking accurate. With the VivoFit I entered my average stride length and it multiplied that by my steps to get a distance. It was fine for my purposes. People who run a lot usually want more accuracy than that. |

Re: Prime Day 2018
Prime Day is July 16-17th. I am so excited to replace my kindle e-reader.
Starts at 3 pm on the 16th and goes for 36 hours. You must be a Prime member but you can get a trial subscription and then cancel if Prime isn't something you need. Apparently the Amazon app is going to be the best way to see all the deals. I much prefer shopping on my laptop unless I know exactly what I need. https://www.amazon.com/Prime-Day/b?i...d-440764254165 Last edited by Soliloquy; 07-04-2018 at 05:32 PM. |

I have that and REALLY like it. The baby enjoys it and it folds up when we need it out of the way. It's not super quick to put away or set up, but it's not a big drag. |

That's so good to know! It recently went up in price about $20 so I'm hoping it will go back down again before he can use it.

I love Audible! I'm on a "hold" type of membership right now, so that 3-month membership is a very good deal! Just need to remember to cancel that and go back to my "hold" membership later!

Re: Prime Day -- July 16-17, 2018
Amazon Basics are 20% off now through Prime Day. If you don't go to Costco, Amazon Basics batteries are the next best when it comes to performance and value. They also have towels, bedding, etc. Haven't tried those but I am really disappointed in the bedding I recently bought at a store and it wasn't cheap! I may try Amazon Basics sheets.

Re: Prime Day -- July 16-17, 2018
Let us know what you think of the sheets! We just got AB batteries last month - great price and not quite as huge quantity as Costco.
Last year there was a good deal on Prismacolor pencils.

Re: Prime Day -- July 16-17, 2018
I took advantage of a pre-Prime Day deal on Wag dog food. I don't really expect to buy much else, if anything. Although maybe I'll find myself browsing all the Basics deals. But that's still not likely to get me to buy much.
I do have two sets of Amazon Basics Sheets from two years ago. They're great. But different to what's available now and cheaper too, so ---------- Post added at 10:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:41 PM ---------- The best thing about Prime Day is DH will get 12 hours of overtime.

Hubby wants an electronic picture frame.
I think Dad needs a Dot. He got a Microwoft Cortana. I'm not impressed. I'd like a picture scanner.
