I'm a little freaked out! I bought NASA approved glasses from a NASA approved vendor. They had all of the appropriate certifications stamped on them.
We went outside, and we put the glasses on while looking down. When we looked up at the eclipse, I would count to 3 and look away. I put my fingers around the glasses to block out any additional light from coming in.
I did a "3-count-look" about 10-15 times over the course of an hour. We weren't in the path of totality, so we never looked up without the glasses on.
Now my eyes feel gritty, like I want to close them. One eye definitely feels worse than the other.
Anybody know what in the world is going on????
My kids feel fine. They were looking along with me.
