I think you are all doing amazing!!!

I am trying to get rid of one thing per week and so far it's going okay.

I have discovered a local 24 hour bidding war site on FB, and a local Once Upon a Child store. My hardest part of decluttering might just be getting the items out of the garage. Last week I was able to sell about $100 worth of toys and dishes.

I also took a load of randoms to the thrift store. I often feel a tinge of guilt when I drop stuff off at the thrift store...like I am giving them garbage. It might help if I take smaller amounts more often, rather than waiting until I can fill the back of my SUV. When I was dropping off a load, a lady came with one little shopping bag of items to donate. One bag!

Jacob just outgrew his newborn sizes. I don't use the boppy or bassinette so I am going to consign those along with all my winter maternity clothes since I can't nurse in them. That will leave my summer things, but I can decide what to do with them next year.

I sooo wanna go thru this thread and count how many bags Ive taken out. I took 3 more out today, plus 2 things that were too big for bags. Where does all this stuff come from?!

I'm still doing the KonMari that I started a few months ago. I got side-tracked digitizing all my kids' drawings and schoolwork. That was a few-weeks process, and I feel like my KonMari steam has sort of fizzled out and I'm working in bits and pieces ever since when I really need to be steam-rollering my way through and just getting it done.

Exactly the same thing going on here. I love the categories of my house where I actually finished, but I really want to get the whole thing done. I'm just so swamped so I am going to keep trying here and there.

Packed up an entire bag of clothes to donate to Goodwill

I don't have a lot of clothes...so that is an accomplishment for me

Threw away an old nursing bra this morning.

The thought of digitizing the kids' artwork is both intriguing and terrifying to me...

I plugged in a set of lights today that dh and I got as a second anniversary gift (13 years ago) and realized that the bulbs are orange not white.

The whole box will go to good will this week.

I just wished we had realized this 4 moves ago.

Went to the charity shop yesterday. Forgot to take the one bin bag, 2 carrier bags and the giant tote basket thing of stuff I wanted to donate

I am jumping in..new here and excited!
The KonMari has revolutionized my house in just a few weeks! Today, we are at 9 big black garbage bags sent to our local thrift.
Tomorrow, 8 boxes of books, games and just stuff is going too. I am loving how the house feels and am motivated!

Filled two more bags today, plus MORE stuff that was too big for bags. i took a bag and a box for a friend's rummage sale. I think I took a few bags out last week, too. It's all fuzzy.

i'm almost DONE!! I have a few more little areas to tackle, I'm going to take a break for a bit. i spent this whole holiday weekend pushing thru. It was tough.
