I need some salad recipes...

I'm getting so fed up with garden salad and vinaigrette.

Anyone have a good recipe? What about dressings?

Almond Strawberry Salad

1-1 1/2 c. baby spinach
1/4 c. sliced strawberries
2 T sliced honey roasted almonds

Dressing:
1-1 1/2 t cider vinegar
1-1 1/2 t honey
3/4 t sugar

Shake in a jar, drizzle over salad, toss to coat server immediately

Super yummy!

Yeah I mainly mean veggie salads. I want to get the leafy greens in there, but I've never been much good at preparing them in a yummy fashion.

I like baby greens and extra spinach with teriyaki glazed grilled salmon, walnuts, dried cranberries, homemade honey mustard, and those crunchy chow mein noodles on top.

Greens with feta or bleu cheese, sun dried tomatoes, walnuts/pecans, and balsamic vinaigrette. You can add chicken if you want.

top your greens with scallions, ramen (raw, crushed, and browned in skillet) OR toasted almonds, shredded carrots and a dressing (rice vinegar, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, honey)

I had one recently that was baby greens with toasted pine nuts, dried cranberries and feta cheese, with a sweet red wine dressing (had maple syrup, I think). That was really nice.

I like to make a dressing with a little mayo, some red wine vinegar, a bit of mustard and some horseradish and a drizzle of a neutral oil (I use grapeseed). Salt and pepper to taste. It's wonderful on a salad of crisp lettuce, thinly sliced beef and crumbled old cheddar.

some salads i make often:

-mixed greens, sliced baby cucumber, craisins or blueberries, feta & garbanzo beans
-spinach or butter lettuces with cucumber, mandarin oranges, feta & diced walnuts

top your greens with:

grilled chicken, strawberries, candied pecans, sliced sweet onions

walnuts, mandarin oranges, croutons, sliced sweet onions

apple chunks, cashews, shredded cheese

forget the greens and make a salad of:
-black beans, corn, tomatoes, onion, fresh cilantro, kosher salt and lime juice
-grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, corn, green onions and homemade balsamic vinaigrette

one of my favorite new salads this summer is Caribbean chicken salad. it's greens topped with teriyaki chicken, pineapple chunks, pico de gallo, crushed tortilla chips, and a homemade honey-mustard vinaigrette. such an unexpected combination of flavors--I love it! I think I got it on allrecipes.com, if you just search for "caribbean chicken salad"--I mostly follow the recipe except I don't like to use the fresh cilantro (it overpowers the other flavors) and I only use honey, no white sugar, in the dressing.
