The dog ate my tree
We planted a pear tree a couple months ago and it was doing great! This morning the puppy chewed it off about 14 inches from the ground. It was about 6 feet tall. I know it's probably dead...but wanted to check with people who might know for sure. It's roots are still completely intact. It's probably a silly question.
Every time I look out the window and see the trunk sticking out of the ground I feel sick. Is it too late in the year to plant another to replace it? We live in Central Indiana.

Re: The dog ate my tree
Oh no! No help on replacing/replanting but lots of commiseration.
