Are you a certified master gardener?
I'm thinking about going through the training. If you've done it, tell me about the program in your state, and whether you enjoyed it. What kind of volunteer work did you do afterward? Was it fun/valuable? Also, why did you decide to go through the certification program in the first place? How has it enriched your life?

Re: Are you a certified master gardener?
I'm curious about replies. I've considered this before.

Re: Are you a certified master gardener?
I was signed up and then I got pregnant. I was the certified nursery consultant for my local Home Depot. I think it was over forty hours of training and a big exam at the end. I learned a ton but it wasn't hands on or specific to my area. So I still want to take the master gardener course.
