Question Rituals for Living Dreambook & Planner

Do you have one? I am on the brink of ordering. I think it's exactly what I need.

http://dreambook.vision

I just got a Well Planned Day at half price (because the academic year is half over) and I'm using it but it's laid out all wrong for me. I'm ignoring all her subject headings and just writing down a chronological plan for each day. I don't plan out subjects or keep grades so I want something else.

$48 is a bit steep for a planner but I can see this bringing some healthy balance to my life. For too long I neglected self care. Now I'm much better at it but it's still tough getting everything done. And I want to be more intentional.

I think I just talked myself into a $48 planner.

I've looked at it several times. And then talked myself out of it I love the look of it.

That looks good. Really good.

Could you buy the PDF version and still use the 25% off coupon? Or is it the bound book that you really like?

A local friend uses this one.

I'm relieved that it's sold out. I don't have to decide between the two. Plus I like that the Dreamboom is undated. If I skip a week or a month I can just pick up again without wasting pages.

I don't need the planner, but the goal setting pages are intriguing. And, I can print them free at the library.

I look at that and think, "Hm, why can't I just do that in my bullet journal?"

Ok let me chime in!! I just did the living well spending less goal setting 'crushing it' course. There are some free sheets you can download from her. You can also have a jolly good look through the whole of her planner. Enough to have an idea about how to break a bigger goal down to smaller ones and then to weekly and daily.

It was, in the end, a hard sell for her planner. But I enjoyed watching it. I have never learned about goal setting before and basically she's taking bestselling authors and turning their stuff in to a pastel course!!! And lots of pastel stationery.

Anyway, I am happy with the concept of planning now and I still need to set aside time to do my homework, now I have my goal, and this year's plan. I need to do the dividing up in to monthly weekly and daily goals and put it in my home schedule. And get school going.

I'm thinking of looking at bullet journaling and just making this happen myself. Everything I do is on a shoestring but the other thing is, I never seem to fit perfectly in to pre printed things. I have enough from Ruth soukup to know what elements to include in my goal setting and planning. And there are other things I want to add : school , drinking water, taking meds etc.

So look around for the free stuff and I think cultivate what matters looks amazing: but her printables would possibly do the same for you: allow you to set goals and work out A way to plan your own week in a plain notebook / printed pad. Kmart here sell weekly planners and there are other pre printed stationerys around now that could work.

Yes.

Except my beautiful German bullet-style journal is still in pristine condition after many many months. (IOW Unused.) I need the structure.

Can't do printables. Highly allergic.

That looks really good.

What excites me about the Dreambook is it will challenge me to balance emotional, spiritual, &, physical health with necessary tasks by establishing rituals.

I am very good at getting all the things done. I am not very good at learning to balance getting things done with being happy and healthy. Plus setting goals for my own growth, not just goals for household order.

---------- Post added at 08:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:14 PM ----------

One thing I forgot to mention: I didn't realize this until after I ordered. When you buy the book, you get the pdf version, also. So my dh and/or my teen can use the printable version while I have my book. You get up to 7 downloads.

It came yesterday!

First thoughts: this will be really good for me. Monthly, quarterly, yearly, and lifetime goals & dreams. Weekly and daily reminders to be grateful, intentional, and prioritize what's really important. The space allotted for daily planning could be bigger.

I've just flipped through it so far. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the initial dreaming and goal setting pages. Just because I'm such a "git 'er done" person. I tend to think while I'm doing and then reflect after. Lather rinse repeat.
