It is accessible from the deck on the side of the house and tied to a tree on the other side. There are pulleys so I stand on the deck to put thing on/ off and the line is high enough that we can walk under it in the yard so it's not in our way. I am careful to make sure things are turned inside out when it's sunny unless they're all white, and I still try to not leave them out too long.
