Re: September dinners
Queso Chicken Bake from the THM cookbook. I think I will just set out raw veggies for a side, plus tortilla chips for the kids.

Re: September dinners
Tonight is chicken fajitas.
Last night we had roasted potatos & Brussels sprouts and taco meat. Tomorrow I think will be balsamic shredded roast & mashed potatoes.

Re: September dinners
I need to menu plan again! Work is so crazy right now and by the time I get to the afternoon I don't even have enough energy to THINK about what's for dinner
I do have tonight's dinner sorted.....chicken stir fry with veggies and rice.

Re: September dinners
I got my week all planed out, we will see if we stick to it.
Saturday I will be at the lady's retreat over lunch I expect dh to take the girls out but wanted to have the option of something easy at home. Early bird chose the sauage, sourcrout and apple, wiggle worm chose the tacos ( with avocado! This was a quite important matter) and the chicken soup with rice. This is the first full school week. Monday is co-op from 9 to 2:15 and then early bird ballet from 5 to 6 Tuesday is the old lady knitting group I take the girls to it runs from 10 to noon. We normally make it for 30 or 40 min starting at 11 [ this week we have a not back to school picknick, noon to 4 we won't make all of it it is 30 min there and maybe an hour back of a drive] and wiggle worm has ballet from 4:30 to 5:30 Wendsday early bird has ballet again from 5 to 6 Thursday I have my knitting group that I am trying to get to from 6 to 9 I hope that we can easily make it through the week but I am looking forward to being not at home on Saturday. Re: September dinners
I didn't get to the grocery store today so I have to make a pantry meal - Chili in the IP. We have tortilla chips in the pantry, and I'll probably make some rice to go with it. Tomatoes and cukes from the garden on the side. I just can't concentrate well enough to come up with anything else.

Re: September dinners
I tried a new spinach feta chicken recipe in the IP. It was good but so rich.

Re: September dinners
I made pasta and meatballs (nothing fancy just frozen and canned), but no one ended up being home to eat it, so we will have it again with roasted veggies and salad, maybe Thurs?
Tomorrow I want to have chicken, baked potatoes, and brussel's sprouts.

Re: September dinners
We are doing orange chicken with sugar snap peas tonight.
Tomorrow will be quiche and yogurt and fruit— something easy since I have a volleyball game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: September dinners
I'm going to put a whole chicken plus some potatoes, carrots, onions and celery in the crockpot for tonight. And I'll serve it with beets and a spinach/arugula salad.
