Removing Smoke Smell from Microfiber couch?
We bought a microfiber couch from Craigslist. Its got some smoke smell (though not nearly as horrible as some I've seen/smelled).
We've got it sitting outside in full sunlight today. I've heard spritzing with vodka can be effective--does anyone know if it is safe for the microfiber? Any other tips?

Re: Removing Smoke Smell from Microfiber couch?
You could try vinegar and baking soda. And air it out.
The problem with furniture is that the odor seeps deep into the cushions and isn't just on the outside fabric. You'll need to clean any exposed wood. Often you'll need to seal it to mask the odor because it gets into the wood and cannot be removed. |
