Re: Want to cheer each other on in cleaning today?
I have a list to tackle:
-spend some time weeding and planting the garden -pick currants and deliver to a friend -make bumble berry pies -dispose of shrub clippings that are littering the landscape beds (and prune three more shrubs in the front landscape bed) -laundry: collect, sort, wash and iron -find medical scripts and have them filled (call insurance company about dd's coverage)

After work, I need to clean to toilets and wash a load of clothes. As on top of everything else as can be.

Great thread idea! My mother in law is staying the night tomorrow night, and then early Friday morning we're going to Ottawa for mini honeymoon. So needless to say I want to come home to a clean house!
My biggest thing is the MASSIVE laundry pile in my son's room. uuuuugh. |

Re: Want to cheer each other on in cleaning today?
I didn't get back to my list because I originally posted it just as the 4th of July weekend break hit. I completely forgot about the break.
But I'll come back to this with a new list tomorrow!

Re: Want to cheer each other on in cleaning today?
Here is my previous list:
-spend some time weeding and planting the garden -make bumble berry pies -dispose of shrub clippings that are littering the landscape beds (and prune three more shrubs in the front landscape bed) It is a good start. Today I had dental surgery in the morning and slept away most of the day. I think I can tackle a few more jobs around the house so I'll make an updated list to see me through tomorrow. -spend some time weeding and planting the garden -make bumble berry pies -dispose of shrub clippings that are littering the landscape beds (and prune three more shrubs in the front landscape bed) -call insurance company about dd's coverage -quick tidy of the house -clean out fridge, make shopping list, go shopping -early dinner prep (dinner company coming sometime in the afternoon) -finish tidying laundry room -finish tidying dining room -put away my laundry -order gymnastics suit for dd -pick up driving books for ds -upload items for sale on local bidding site Here are a few jobs that I will delegate to my little and not-so-little lovelies: -dust woodwork -sweep kitchen floor -bedroom tidy and bed making -practice drums -dd clean out car and make a driving test appointment

LOL, I always do this. Like completely forgetting until this moment that we're going to a cottage sleepover for my close friend's husband. Not enough hours in a day. My actual list tomorrow for things I need to do: - Keep son alive - Fold AND put away all laundry - Hang cloth diapers - Journal, bible read - Work on plotting current novel project - Tidy livingroom/kitchen, make beds, all the daily stuff. - Vacuum everything super well |

Re: Want to cheer each other on in cleaning today?
New day, updated list. We have had a quick nasty flu in our extended family and we have been spending a lot of time with them this last week. The flu hit my husband a few days ago, and this morning my ds. I am going to stay close to home today just in case I'm next.
My ongoing list through the weekend: -spend some time weeding and planting the garden -make bumble berry pies -dispose of shrub clippings that are littering the landscape beds (and prune three more shrubs in the front landscape bed) -call insurance company about dd's coverage -finish tidying dining room -put away my laundry -order gymnastics suit for dd (tried, but closed until Monday) -upload items for sale on local bidding site Here are a few jobs that I will delegate to my little and not-so-little lovelies (two are now sick with the flu, and two are working so I will cut them some slack): -dust woodwork -bedroom tidy and bed making -practice drums -dd clean out car and make a driving test appointment

Re: Want to cheer each other on in cleaning today?
Calling it a day. I got my list almost completely done. The kids helped a lot, so I can't take complete credit.

Re: Want to cheer each other on in cleaning today?
I stayed home with one of my dd's while the rest of the family went to the new Dory movie. I just finished putting pies into the oven (3) or freezer (6). After I deal with the aftermath of dinner and pie making I hope to work on my list.
My ongoing list through the weekend: -spend some time weeding and planting the garden -dispose of shrub clippings that are littering the landscape beds (and prune three more shrubs in the front landscape bed) -call insurance company about dd's coverage (will need to wait until Monday) -finish tidying dining room -put away my laundry -order gymnastics suit for dd (tried, but closed until Monday) -upload items for sale on local bidding site Here are a few jobs that I will delegate to my little and not-so-little lovelies: -dust woodwork -bedroom tidy and bed making -practice drums (I'll let this go because ds has been practicing synth to play with the worship team for VBS this week) -
