Monday 5 Minute Challenge/ To Do List

I'll work with a "two-do" list because it helps me to stay focused.

1) tidy kitchen (looks small in print, but it's a big job)
2) collect household garbage

I could use this today!

My to-do:

1. make grocery list, especially focusing on replenishing food storage
2. laundry - darks, lights, towels, bedding
3. tidy
4. put dishes in dishwasher away when they are done
5. clean out the fridge
6. begin organizing some of the cupboards in the kitchen focusing on four that hold food
7. take suitcases and coolers that we used on our trip back out to the garage to store
8. figure out what to have for supper with my limited supply of food available
9. grocery shop and run errands either tonight or tomorrow

Laundry switched and one cupboard done!

2 more cupboards done, one more to go and I'm working on my grocery list as I go through cupboards.

Oh yeah...I had forgotten about this thread. I started in the pantry and then got distracted. Back to my list.

Super late to the game so I'll just post what I accomplished:

Made bone broth
Made chicken and veggie soup from broth
Made small batch of cream cheese potato soup
Folded/hung half of clean or new clothing and put away
Two good will bags ready
Washed and dried towels
Loaded dishwasher
Bathed the baby
Put together my oldest's electronic piano
Put together the baby's Noah's Ark toy

Not too bad for DH's first day back at work after six days off.

Garbage done. Laundry collected and a load is washing. Dishes still need to be done, but I am going to paint some furniture right now and get to the dishes later. I'm not sure if I should put 3 coats + primer on the furniture, or if 2 coats + primer is good enough. I have a second coat to put on the table base, and hopefully the rest of the stuff is good enough.

Two coats of paint was plenty. The buffet was brought into the dining room last night. I painted the last coat on the table and it should be ready to come into the house as soon as I have decluttered the current table top and have room for the new table.
