I counted. I have 13 wardrobes of kid clothes. Nb, 3 mo, 6 mo, 9 mo, 12 mo, 18 mo, 2T, 3T, 4T, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Everything smaller than 9 mo needs to go.

Somehow, I still don't have enough clothes.

I'm not entirely sure the prescription is accurate tbh. But I'm going to give it a few days to see if my perception adjusts.
I just went through that. I feel your pain! Now I'm totally used to them.

I have lots of bins of clothes, too, one bin per gender. All that you have plus more for bigger clothes and different ones for shoes, coats, swimsuits, etc. And I'm thinking about getting rid of the girls smaller than 4 and boys smaller than 2 plus newborn linens, but I'm not positive yet.

I took a big load to the thrift store last Saturday.

I think I'm going to push the kids to purge some of their pillow collection. They each have a Boppy pillow that they claim they don't want but get clingy when I mention getting rid of it. The ones they laid on as newborns and stuff ya know? And my noodle pillow from pregnancy. They are honestly just clutter at this point.

Could you make something out of the covers of the boppys? A tooth pillow would be a good project if they don't have those already (they're tinier than boppies)

Yeah. It's totally okay to just ditch them, too, or store them in a box for awhile and then if the kids don't ask about them in, say, three months, then out they go.

I had NB-3, 6-9 and 12 month bins, but I culled it down to just NB-9mo. I was proud of that accomplishment. lol I'm such a babyaholic. I'm hoping to go through again and do another purge down to just what I LOVE and actually would use. It's tricky here with 4 seasons- I end up truly needing a lot of clothes for my kids.

Today I attacked the hall closet of doom. It's where I neatly store art supplies and random stuff and DH can't read labels and just piles things in there. I still have a bin of stuff to go through in there, but I made good progress, lots of garbage.

I also hit the nursery closet. I've been throwing junk in there for months. I'm sad because there were cute baby things that V never got to even wear annnd suddenly, she's almost 1 I have a laundry bucket heaping with things to donate/sell. I hope to get it cleared out this week. There's good money to be made, it's just gonna take some time and hassle.

I finally threw out some pocket diapers that delaminated A YEAR AGO. I was just in some weird denial about those.

Returned $30 of impulse buys to Target.

Convinced my mom to do a group V-day gift for the kids instead of little junk.

We are moving soon, and only taking what we need/want from our old house. The rest, we will be sold in a garage/estate sale before short selling.

DH and I went through a shelf in our craft room last night. I need to go through one more shelf and then go through the mess that I call "the fiber arts corner." It's where i have shoved all of our yarn, fabric, knitting & crocheting needles, looms, sewing machine, etc. And my painting supplies, naturally.

I had people to help me clean yesterday. 5 full trash bags and some bigger random clutter later, I feel like I have control of my house back. There's still some stuff to go out of the spare room too.
