Monday 5 Minute Challenge/ To Do List

I'm backing up to do things on my lists from the past week. I try to have realistic expectations, and many of the things on my list were nearly done. Now to finish up and feel good about my accomplishments.

To begin, last Monday's list:
1) tidy kitchen (looks small in print, but it's a big job)
2) collect household garbage

To-do
1. Pay health insurance bill
2. Menu planning for this week
3. Grocery list, coupons and price matches
4. Grocery shop
5. Other errands to be determined
6. Make lesson plans for this week's school
7. Visit with dh about our long-range plans for the year

Next on my list, from a few weeks back. I had been focused for much of the day, but never did get two the last two things on that two-do list:

1-spend 15 minutes (longer if motivated) decluttering toy cupboard (focusing on books and I am on my way! )
2-make and send 2 invoices

2-make and send 2 invoices I will do this later because I need paperwork that is in the art studio. There is a lot of slushy snow between the house and the studio.

Now to find the next unfinished list...

-put away my laundry
-re-assemble bedside tables in master (I removed everything to clean and dust)
-finish oiling the great room woodwork (job assigned to my 8 y.o. needs a few touch ups)
-go through 4 file boxes of paper clutter. I have made amazing progress in my music/dining/homework room but the last icky bit is left
-take boxes of canning jars down to crawl space (some sorting and organizing is involved here)
-loads of laundry to do: one; two; three One load of laundry left to start...but many loads of laundry to put away.

I know it's Tuesday, but I need to feel closure with my lists. I've had a busy day. After I tidy the kitchen from dinner, I am going to try to cross a few more things off of my list(s). I am only C&Ping what I have yet to do:

-finish oiling the great room woodwork (job assigned to my 8 y.o. needs a few touch ups)
-take boxes of canning jars down to crawl space (some sorting and organizing is involved here)

-put all Christmas decorations into the garage
-catch up with all laundry (includes putting away clothes)
-tidy the laundry room
-spend 15 minutes tidying my walk-in closet
-portion bone broth for the freezer and make soup

Me, too, I love closure to my lists as well, so I'm marking off what I got done today.

Catching up with the laundry will never get crossed off the list! Every day I feel like I have to start all over again!
