Default Vitamins

I'm sure there is like a MILLION threads on this, but I couldn't find one.

I'm looking for a multi-vitamin, liquid, for DD, 2 years old. Mid/low-price (no more than $25 for a month supply).

I had her on ChildLife multivite/multimineral, but her Pedi says it contains too much Vit. D and that I can only give her 4 ml 3x/week or I'll risk Vit. D overdose issues. Bottle says does for her should be 5-10ml/day.

We use TriLight Health s Original Herbal Minerals as our multivitamin (and I used it as my prenatal during both ds2's pregnanct and this one). It's dosed by weight, so I'mnnot sure if it meets your cost criteria or not.. but we initially started using it be pause we are a family with GI issues / poor absorption, and I had heard that food/herb-sourced vitamins were more readily absorbed by the body because the body recognizes it as food, unlike synthetically-produced vitamins. Also, that liquid was easier for the body to absorb than capsule or tablet form.

If only DD took it, 8 oz would last us about 5 months! I'm not seeing what it contains for vitemine mineral count/RDA chart. Do you know if there is one? I'd like to see what all it's covering for vitamins/minerals.

I would e-mail them about that, as I am unsure myself. I believe they do not carry an RDA chart simply because by using herbs rather than a lab-synthesized product, they deal with some variation in each batch simply due to the difference present within the herbs themselves due to growing location, season, et cetera. Their TriIron formula is actually how I brought my iron levels back up when I tested low right after mu gluten-intolerant diagnosis, which is how I stumbled upon the company in the first place. All that to say... even without the RDA chart that we've all been trained to expect, I'be found them to be effective, and have never found any issues or complications with my children taking them. In fact, the biomed practitioner we started seeing this summer for my son with ASD, was rather impressed by it.
