Learning Ally
Does or has anyone use Learning Ally?
I am looking into it for my sons. (I have the referral if I decide to go with it, so that is not an issue.) Do you like it? Is it much different from, say, Audible? Would I need a separate account for each boy?

Re: Learning Ally
We have learning ally. The kids are moving away from it as they get older and I'm unsure we will keep it. They don't like some of the voices used. Rather than professional recordings, they use volunteers I haven't looked at audible. They've been using the free audio from the library. Ours renews in August and I have to decide what to do.
Okay, I just looked up audible. It looks like you pay for credits and get a certain number depending on your membership level. Learning ally has free unlimited audio books and usually homeschool buyers co-op has a discount coed. . It doesn't have ALL the titles but we've had really good luck with them. We've used for several years but now the kids getting picky.

Re: Learning Ally

Re: Learning Ally
It has been a life-saver for us! They have many homeschooling books like the apologia elementary texts that you can't find many places other than purchasing the audio cd's. It really is helpful if you have other children and need some to be independent. I only have one account and 3 of my children use it although only my dyslexic child needs it.
