Re: *GRAIN FREE* I need snack and lunch ideas
Salmon patties are easy for lunch and you can take them with you if you don't mind them cold. http://gapsdietjourney.com/2012/01/r...almon-patties/
We do salads often for lunch, and meatballs, leftovers. Dh doesn't like chicken fried "rice" so I make that for lunch (the rice is cauliflower). The kids like avocado for snack. It's messy but filling. Pickles are another favorite as well as bananas, apples and carrots. They also like raisins, coconut flakes and sea salt mixed together (sometimes I add cocoa nibs). |

Ooh making a trail mix with the coconut. dd2 devoured half a bag of the giant flaked coconut the other day. Mixing it with some thing... specifically some protein would help.

a paleo blogger did a series on paleo lunches last year that i thought looked -awesome-: http://nomnompaleo.com/post/30267255...es-part-1-of-5
we do homemade larabars, dried fruit (DS especially likes dried bananas and raisins), cheese, and pickles for snacks.

These fudge balls are MY favorite snack.
The kids love peanut butter dip with their apples - PB, honey, olive oil. Also beef jerky or Slim Jim types of beef sticks. I'm sure there are healthier versions; we just get the ones from the deli. I saw a recipe similar to this on Disney Jr the other night, and it looked cute - and yummy! Cucumber hummus cupcakes.

Do you eat lunch at home or does it need to be portable? Do y'all eat potatoes?
