Re: November's Dinners
I'm not sure yet. Today is payday and therefore Costco day. Need to come up with something easy.

Re: November's Dinners
We've been enjoying this soup a lot recently - just right for a cold autumn evening (I serve it with bread but I've not made the toasted cheese thing they suggest). It's surprisingly filling and very tasty!

Re: November's Dinners
Brats in cider gravy and rice for most of the fam, and a chicken curry for me and Peanut (Pea ate his over rice)... I was planning to make broccoli but got too tired, so the kids picked to eat canned corn with dinner. So I only had the curry.

Re: November's Dinners
Last night was a quick put together. Shredded bbq chicken breast in the IP. Mashed potatoes (boiled on the stove) and roasted carrots.
I have a full chicken thawing to make a batch of chicken soup. Dh is coming down with a cold.

Re: November's Dinners
I'm slowly trying to go through my freezer, so we just had bratwurst I found and a salad. It feels so good to be clearing it out!

Re: November's Dinners
No idea. I have laryngitis so I suspect the Sicilian will be making all the meals this weekend. (They got up and did breakfast so early I have no idea what they had.) He asked me to soak some greens in water and baking soda. (Since they won't be home until 4:30) So I have kale going in the sink and red mustard greens in a big bowl.
( Really glad I made almost 4 quarts of broth yesterday. I kinda think I will be having soups and pureed foods for a few days. I can barely swallow--which of course means I seem to be making extra saliva. Lol) |
