---------- Post added at 12:50 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:47 AM ---------- BBQ Chicken Chili from Carlsbad Cravings. It was so good. Economical and easy, too. https://carlsbadcravings.com/smoky-b...ker-stove-top/ I used half the liquid smoke and I'm glad I did. It could be left out and would still be delicious. (In case anyone is wondering, liquid smoke is just smoked water. Weird, I know. This was my first time buying it.) You could use extra smoked paprika instead. I didn't add the cornstarch. |

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Yesterday at 10 dh asked about going and picking up food ( we haven't done that at all in the quareontene yet) I agreed. I was talking to my highschool friends at 5:30 ( they are all in a different time zone and were talking at 7:30 or 8:30)
But then as the day went on I totay frogot about picking up food. Dh walked out of his studdy at 5:20 and I have pad Thai all made and ready. He starts making jokes about.how we had an agreement and how I betrayed him. It was a nice moment of levity in the day. And the pad Thai was really good. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

We got our first CSA box from a local farm!
I baked the sweet potatoes last night, so I’ll mash those tonight and probably just make chicken nuggets to go with them Survival mode over here right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've never made them before, but it was one of the only meats available in the grocery store last week. I took them out of the freezer last night. I'm not even sure if I've eaten them before. Hope we like them.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
They are huge in Wisconsin. A summer staple! You're not allowed to dislike them. Traditionally eaten with spicy brown mustard, carmelized onions, and sauerkraut. But many people top them just like hot dogs with ketchup and relish. Green Bay Packers jersey optional.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Hmm, well I'm definitely not serving them traditional style. I don't have rolls since we are gluten free, but I do have spicy brown mustard in the fridge. I do have a can of sauerkraut in the pantry and could add some onions (although my son hates them). We'll see.

Tonight is beef stew and homemade rolls or cornbread. Depends on how much flour we have.
