We're doing thankful pumpkins too. It's been a lot of fun & dd19 asked if we could find a way to continue next month.
 Yesterday dd15 said she was grateful for the way they have been raised.  She means all of it - homeschooling, family focus, faith. She couldn't figure out how to write it on the pumpkin.  Today I'm grateful for kids who can say we'll start cleaning at 10:30 and do. They cranked the music and cranked out most of the work. I am also grateful that my dh is still working. He has to work late tonight because of issues, but I'm grateful for the hours and hopeful he can get there too. ECing Mom, I'm so glad she got to dance!

My friend who is a child life specialist in the ER came last night. She specializes in grief and has been helping kids when they are told their 30, 40 ish age parents have died of covid.  She said the meal at my house and seeing my daughter perform was exactly what she needed. . She feels refreshed and ready to work Fri-Monday.

I'm grateful today for seeing my washing drying on the line and for being able to make dinner for my family.
Simple things...but its been a very tough few weeks and I am only just beginning to see the "little" things again
