Winniewildflower has a spectacular aura aboutWinniewildflower has a spectacular aura about
Default Adrenal Fatigue, anemia, anxiety, fatigue, irritability

Hey all... I need your wisdom..

I'm trying to get well... I've just come off Anti-depressants after 1yr on lexapro for anxiety. I don;t like anti-depressants but at the time I just needed to do it for my family!

Now that I'm free from them, I'm starting to struggle again. I've felt incredibly tired since my son was born 2 years ago, and a naturopath friend believes I've got adrenal fatigue. I'm also anemic.

I've started having panic attacks again and feeling really irritable.

This is not the mumma I want to be.

I'm hoping it is all stemming from the one problem - Anemia.

I've been on Iron tablets for about 2 months now and I still don't feel any better (I will try and get bloods again tomorrow)

I'm wondering if anyone on here has super knowledge as I am in a smaller town in Thailand with no doctor or many resources!

I'm also taking:

*Adrenoplex (Withania somnifera, siberian ginseng, Korean gineng, american ginseng and reiishi mushroom

*Nutrivital Stress and Anxiety (Rhodiola, Withani Somnifra, sacred basil, siberian ginseng, lemon balm)

*B12

* Spirulina

* Trying to get a wheatgrass shot in every day or every second day

* And as of today also Vitex.

I was wondering if I could go to the big city and get Injections of Iron and B12? WOuld that help?

Most days I wake up and all day I am just trying to keep myself awake. Even though I am getting enough sleep... I am just sooo tired.

Thanks in advance sweet mumma's (I know you are not doctors...But When in Thailand!)

I've gone through adrenal fatigue and I'm convinced my teen has it right now. I may as well as. It's been a very very difficult year

Some things we will be using.
*high quality salt
*vitamin C
*acupuncture
*fresh juicing

I'm researching other important things. Im so overwhelmed because there are so many ways to approach this

Praying for wisdom. This is a brutal thing to battle

I took an adrenal fatigue supplement that really helped. I also had to overhaul the foods I ate and when I ate them.

No fruit before lunch
A green smoothie, low on fruit, with or after lunch
A lot more quality protein
A reduced amount of carbs
Limited sugar

How are you? We've been doing the above plus dgl and caayenne pepper and I'm shocked at how much it's helping my dd's energy level

How much magnesium are you getting from your diet and supplementation? So many things depend on it.

If it is helpful, 5htp is a natural supplement that has a similar function as many antidepressants. It helps increase the serotonin in your brain. You could maybe research and see if it is something that would be beneficial to you.

I went through this about 5 years ago. The biggest improvement came when I stopped eating gluten. I later realized that it was connected to the bacteria in my gut, and started cutting back on my sugar intake. Now I eat hardly any sugar, and I can really tell when I've had more than usual because my anxiety and depression start to creep back in.

Other things that have helped have been high doses of vitamin B complex, dessicated liver, and dl-phenylalanine (links to the brands I use).

Praying for wisdom so you'll know what your body needs and where to get the best help.

Also, when's the last time you got rid of all the parasites? If you're eating for 3 million it will definately sap you of nutrients no matter what you do.

Your list of symptoms describes me when I have gluten. Is that a possibility?

Most iron pills do more harm than good. We've had intense issues with complicated anemia and there are only two iron supplements I recommend:

#1 choice- Ferrabsorb by Thorne Research
#2 choice- Raw Iron by Garden of Life

Both are available at Amazon.

Two teaspoons of blackstrap molasses a day as helped my daughter's iron levels and two tablespoons of it helped my mother.

What do you think of TriLight Health's TriIron supplement? That righted my anemia levels after ds1. I've also heard liver is good for it...
