Itchy @ 2 mo pp
I posted in the 0-3 mo chat a few weeks ago that my boobs were really itchy. Now, my whole body itches (different places at different times). It is accompanied by a rash that comes and goes (red raised splotchy areas). But I also itch where there isn't a rash. The rash gets worse w/ scratching, and better w/ steroid ream... but I'm trying to use that sparingly. Could it be post-partum related (at first I thought it was an eczema type thing since it was just on my boobs, and I would often wake up drenched w/ BM)? I haven't been exposed to anything new, although my what-ever-is-in-the-air allergies have been bad lately. I can't bring myself to take an anti-histamine, since I am BF, but I probably should to see if it helps!

Re: Itchy @ 2 mo pp
Not sure if this will be helpful, but after my pregnancy my skin was really sensitive to everything, especially my body wash. I had to switch to one that was extremely mild. It took me a while to link it to that but I noticed the rash most in the morning after showering the night before. Even now, more than a year later, I haven't been able to go back to the previous body wash.

Re: Itchy @ 2 mo pp
I'd been using castile soap w/ tea tree oil, but I've switched to the kid's (Dolphin Organics) since I've broken the skin in a few places (and thought it might burn!). I've wondered about detergent (switched to Tide b/c I was having stink issues w/ the diapers), but I'd been using it since before LO was born. Also, I have the rash on my legs and neck (places that clothes don't touch) and not on my stomach (where clothes are constantly touching). So, I'm not really sure!!

Re: Itchy @ 2 mo pp
The more I read about Pupps (the postpartum cases) the more convinced I am that that's what it is... Anybody have any good remedies for PUPPS! Any homeopathic stuff that I can take? Anything that won't affect BM/supply?
