A bug flew in my ear!
So this really happened...Last night we had a campfire going, and I remember hearing a bug buzzing right next to my ear, I swatted it away and didn't thing about it anymore. This morning around 3 I woke up with the loudest buzzing sound inside my head, and I could feel the vibrations of whatever it was in my ear , it hurt and the only thing I knew to do was to put pressure on my ear (putting my finger in my ear and then holding the spot between the base of my ear and neck), finally it stopped buzzing and I am assuming it's dead
or it's crawled in my brain to eat a chunk out I did some googling and it said to pour oil in an effort to get the bug out, I've done that several times and I never could see anything. It wasn't too sore today so I was hoping it came out without me noticing, but tonight the pain has struck back up. It will be Monday before I can get to the doctor, but it is pretty painful, are there any tips to draw a foreign object out of the ear?

Yikes! I have no idea how to get it out, but that sounds absolutely miserable

Re: A bug flew in my ear!
I'd try pouring the oil in and letting it sit a bit, maybe 5-10min.
Sorry that happened. The same thing happened to me when I was a little girl and it was terrifying. I still flip out now when bugs get to close to me.
