Got any good quinoa recipes?
I made a quinoa salad a long time ago and liked it but do not remember what I put in it.
Looking for any good recipes.

Re: Got any good quinoa recipes?
My kids are not big quinoa eaters and I have tried a variety of recipes.
The only success I have had with it with the kids (and dh) is when I use it to bake a crust. Like for a quiche or whatever. Somehow when it's a crust they are ok with it.

Re: Got any good quinoa recipes?
Have you tried any at 101 cookbooks? The bowls are really good. I haven't made all of these, but what I have made has been yummy. She used to have an avocado dressing recipe that I put on cooked cold quinoa and veggies, but I can't seem to find it right now. Essentially it was avocado, yogurt, and lemon juice whizzed up in the food processor. (Maybe some garlic? I can't remember all the seasonings, but I tend to experiment, anyway.)

Re: Got any good quinoa recipes?
We enjoy this side dish. Add some chicken and it's a main meal.

I have made all of these to great reception, despite my family not loving quinoa

Re: Got any good quinoa recipes?
We turn greek salad into quinoa salad on a regular basis. It's good. So tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumber, olives, feta, and greek dressing.
This one is also good, but very sweet (pretty sure this is the same recipe we use, different website though): http://www.cookspiration.com/recipe....64F599D22E&g=6 |

Re: Got any good quinoa recipes?
That reminds me, I often sub quinoa for bulgher wheat in Tabbouleh.

Re: Got any good quinoa recipes?
I've never had Tabbouleh, but I once knew a cat named Tabbouleh.

Re: Got any good quinoa recipes?
That might make me hesitant to try the dish.
