Light and airy bread recipe

Does anyone have a good bread recipe that is light and airy after baking? Every bread I have made is too dense and heavy.

Is it for a bread machine? My bread comes out kind of medium ( which is the way we like it). If it turns out too dense, usually the problem is not enough water, not enough yeast, or in case of whole wheat flour, not enough gluten added.

It's a bread machine, and I follow instruction in the manual. I'm not much of a baker.

Maybe I just need to experiment.

I have a bread machine as well and sometimes the bread is fantastic and other times it isn't

I wonder if it has to do with the quality of the yeast or the air temperature
