Bean salad?
Do you have a recipe for a cold bean salad you like?

Re: Bean salad?
I really like this one (it reminds me of my Grandma), but it may not be what you are looking for. Were you wanting a three bean type salad? This one only has one kind of bean with peas and corn.

Re: Bean salad?
Something with a few types of beans. I need to know what to flavor it with.
Found one that calls for Italian dressing. Maybe I'll just cook some beans then add garlic and Italian dressing.

Re: Bean salad?
I season mine with olive oil and vinegar (red wine or balsamic) and parsley, salt and pepper. I'll do cilantro and cumin for a southwestern flavor. Maybe add lime.
I use black, garbanzo, and kidney beans. Usually just red onion and celery for veggies.

Link to the Recipe in my Blog I think Taste of Home had it on their site too... My ds2 doesn't care for green beans, so I like to substitute rinsed black beans. I made it today and used pinto beans(we'll see how that goes). Mom and grandma always used Garbanzo beans in addition to the original recipe.
