My 6th grader asked to put this on my tablet. (I just got a free tablet for switching to AT&T phone/internet) I saw that it is a social network. She said she doesn't have to share.

Do you know anything about it?

Her birthday is the end of October and she plans on using birthday money to buy her own iPod or tablet. She has a friend that just bought the iPhone7 so she's seen the apps. And the battles begin of what I will or will not allow of what her friend's have. sigh

I just found some more information about what it is. It's a video social network and I can set it to private but I'm not going to let her put it on my tablet. We'll see when she buys her iPod.

I'm planning on not allowing social network sites until age 13.

This is a very popular app right now. My daughter uses it and all her friends do too. They make silly music videos and share with each other.

We've talked about it a lot. She shares her videos only with irl friends. But honestly, I don't know as much about it as I should.

here to learn more.

I'm learning it's going to be different with a girl.

Girls tend to text each other more and do all these things, will be a new learning thing for me once she gets an iPod. My son texts a little and does Instagram a little.

When she gets one will have to talk to her about all this safety stuff.
