Re: Rachel Held Evans
It’s so heartbreaking, all around. She was such a strong, bright, and needed presence for both her babies and her husband, and for the world at large. In many ways I almost feel like I’ve lost a big sister.

Re: Rachel Held Evans
Her book Searching for Sunday helped me not completely give up on my faith when it was hanging by a rapidly shredding thread. I was at church for Freedom Conference when I saw the news and literally had to force myself not to cry, and I don't cry. I quite literally wouldn't have been back in the church at all if not for her.

Re: Rachel Held Evans
Another who cried when I learned of her passing. Devastating news.

There is never a time for this behaviour
Which is very much not like Jesus. It breaks my heart. Disgusting

Re: Rachel Held Evans
Yes, very heartbroken. . I've only read her articles and blogs. I'm going to pick one of her books to read. She was very kind. She never stooped to the level of some of her critics. (And some are being truly ugly right now. Don't even look.)
