I also considered the Mealthy Crisplid that goes on the Instant Pot. It’s an interesting option.

Re: July Dinners - What are you cooking?
Tonight is veggies with pre-bought crumbed chicken. I'm in the midst of eating out of our freezer and pantry to clear some food and to save money. So far we've been 2 weeks and spent nothing! I forgot how much I had tucked away

BLTs, fresh peaches, tossed salad, chips. I could have that same meal all week long, I think.

Re: July Dinners - What are you cooking?
We decided we needed comfort food. Ordering Thai take out. Love massaman curry. Finally thought to check Amazon for the paste. Will be ordering that soon so I can make it at home.

Re: July Dinners - What are you cooking?
Tonight we're having GRILLED SALMON WITH AVOCADO BRUSCHETTA, Coconut Rice, grilled asparagus, and Chocolate Chip Cherry Bars with cherry ice cream (store-bought). But , I just made the EASIEST no-churn Blueberry Crumble Ice Cream last night and it was so good!

Re: July Dinners - What are you cooking?
The kids are away and so we are having my navy bean soup, but I'm planning to make it more stew-like, and serve it with gf cornbread. I'm excited to eat something bean heavy since the kids won't eat anything with a bunch of beans.

Re: July Dinners - What are you cooking?
It's hot this week.
Tonight it's Instant Pot Chili, with rice cooker rice, cold veggie and cheese garnishes. Tomorrow is Secunda's Birthday. She asked for a Muffaletta. But I still have to bake her cake. (Root Beer flavored Moon Cake.)

Re: July Dinners - What are you cooking?
ran out of dinner prep tonight so I did simple -- sauteed broccoli and carrots and then I cooked chicken breast on the stove top -- with a little bit of southwest seasoning for a kick, plus some homemade tomato sauce and melted cheese on top.
