Re: Decluttering thread!
I finally purged my 16 year old preserved bouquet of wedding flowers. They bring me no joy to look at. They take up space and collect dust. But they are the flowers i married my love while carrying so i sort of felt obligated to keep them. Which i finally realized is silly. So out they go.

Re: Decluttering thread!
I didn't get any of my decluttering done but I spent yesterday helping friends who's basement flooded. So I did lots and lots of decluttering!

Re: Decluttering thread!
We are getting ready to remodel our kitchen. That means emptying it COMPLETELY. Can you say decluttering?

Re: Decluttering thread!
I have all the kids clothes out in the living room again. They both outgrew clothes at the same time. Again. I also have some kitchen items I discovered I really don't need to go.

Re: Decluttering thread!
Our church has their annual rummage sale coming up next month. Gold motivation to purge to donate.

Re: Decluttering thread!
I took 2 bags of clothing up to the local Salvation Army store. We bought a new bookcase yesterday so next job will be going through books and magazines.

Re: Decluttering thread!
I've finally finished purging paper. I'm exhausted. Lol. It's also discouraging because I don't see the level of change I did with clothing. Mostly because most of the paper stuff was stored way in the basement so I never saw it anyway. *sigh* I'm going to take a couple days off then tackle the next category in the KM book.

Re: Decluttering thread!
Paper is a never ending thing in my house. It comes in so many different forms that it's impossible to keep up with it all. Even with going through it every few days, it piles up and we can fill a trash bag without any effort at all.

Re: Decluttering thread!
I've started purging in order to get ready for our kitchen remodel. This is my pile to sell/give away. (Not the furniture, though. ) Sent from my N9518 using Tapatalk

Re: Decluttering thread!
Four totes of fabric. I kept 2. I don't really have time to sew anymore. Kid's toys, stuff that never sold at the last garage sale. Gotta make room for all the stuff that's currently in the kitchen. It's a full remodel, all the way to the walls and floor, every last thing had to come out of there, including my washer and dryer. No garage to stash it in, so, my craft closet is being sacrificed. I'll never miss it, though.

Re: Decluttering thread!
Well done! I'm constantly getting things ready to donate. I tell the kids I am planning on doing that and they always come up with stuff for me. But our piles are getting smaller, it's getting harder to find stuff. We have no storage space either and I even now have wardrobe space in some rooms to put big bedding and store handmedowns because there's nothing else taking up the space.
Dh needs to look at the under the stairs cupboard tho. I have also radically reduced my sewing stash (I also have no time to sew) but I am planning on going through that again. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I finally got a box out of our bed room to good will, it has only been full sence the second week of January.
