Mama's secret recipe banana pudding

1 box french vanilla instant pudding
1 jar bananas baby food
2 cups milk

prepare according to directions on box. add baby food after milk but before whisking.

this is a favorite around here. whenever i take it to a get together, it gets rave reviews. i keep the secret recipe to myself. so funny how people freak out when they learn they just ate baby food!

That's a good idea.

Funny how people find the idea of eating baby food objectionable.

Good idea...I wonder if mashing some real bananas would work out the same or does banana baby food have other flavors in w/ it? Oddly enough, I've never bought my own child baby food but when I was in hs I would pack a jar of gerber banana food in my lunch when traveling for marching band!

the baby bananas have some vitamin c added to them i believe so that they dont turn brown. it gives it a nice little kick.

I think for a better consistency, you could puree the bananas in the blender.

But yeah, not turning brown is a bonus.
