Re: September's What's For Supper
I'm experimenting a little bit tonight. We haven't had a refrigerator for several days now (thankfully, we do have a freezer and I think the fridge is better after being repaired today) so I'm figuring out meals from what I didn't have to throw away from the fridge, things in the freezer and things in the pantry. We've been eating tons of pasta lately and I'm so tired of it.
So tonight is chicken breasts smothered in an onion, jalapeno and mushroom chicken gravy over rice with canned beets on the side.

Last night was chicken lemon orzo soup.
On this fall-like day, we are having beef chili and cornbread.

Roasted Pepper & Mozarella Ravioli from this awesome Ravioli shop: http://www.pastosa.com/
My Italian hubby has never introduced me to these in the almost 7 years of marriage. But his SIL did a few months back & I'm in love. I even liked their Spinach which is strange for me. I have a box in the freezer to take on vacation with us soon! |
