Teaching emotional regulation
I ran across a thread on another forum where several programs for teaching emotional regulation (I think) were mentioned.
They look interesting, so I wondered if anyone had any feedback about them. Have you tried them? Did you find them useful? Was there anything in there that was not consistent with a Christian worldview? The programs mentioned were: Mind-UP Zones of Regulation SuperFlex And if you have experience with these, would you recommend any of them for (I think) neuro-typical kids who just have big, big feelings (and sometimes big reactions to them!) |

Re: Teaching emotional regulation
My son's speech teacher has been using SuperFlex for the past few years. I think it's a decent program and can be used for both special needs and neurotypical kids.
There's nothing in the program that would give me pause ideologically. So unless you have something against superheroes and villains, it's a good program.
