Need loads of cookies on Friday
I need loads of cookies on Friday morning. I'm intending on 6 different batches, plus candied mice and a few types of cakeballs.
How can I manage this without spending the entire day before cooking? The cakeballs I'm starting on today since those can be in the freezer. How long is cookie dough good in the fridge for? Can I mix up the recipes during the week then just bake them on Thursday?

Re: Need loads of cookies on Friday
You might want to make up some slice-and-bake cookies, they're good in the freezer for a month or more. I also do 4-in-1 cookie dough, it really cuts the time spent. You make up a batch of basic dough and then divide it into four and then modify them. Hope that helps!!

Get your hands on a copy of the Martha Stewart Magazine December issue. She has an article where you make all these different types of cookies from just one dough. I have it here somewhere if you'd like for me to look it up or it may be on her website. You make just one batch of dough and then there are variations when you make the different cookies
